CRM Company: Genesys Conferencing's Growth Strategy Increases Focus On Strategic Partnership Development

Multimedia collaboration one of the leader to build on success with Telco partners - new vice-president, strategic alliances to drive expansion program.

Vienna, Virginia and Montpellier, France - April 4, 2007 - As part of its goal to drive future geographic and sector growth, global multimedia collaboration service leader, Genesys Conferencing (Euronext Eurolist C: FR0004270270) is to place greater emphasis on its indirect channels development strategy.

"Historically, our indirect business has made a significant contribution to the company's overall success" says chairman and chief executive officer, François Legros. "As a result, the indirect channel today already accounts for around 20 per cent of Genesys Conferencing's revenues".

"Over time, we have built especially strong partnerships with major Telco partners such as Cable & Wireless and Colt," he confirms. "Our goal now is to complement our impressive direct sales growth by building on this established program, through the development of strategic relationships with a broader range of technology reseller partners."

New vice-president role

In order to achieve the company's expansion of its indirect channel, Genesys Conferencing has recently appointed Antoine Henocq as vice president, strategic alliances.

Henocq brings with him more than 20 years' specialist IT management experience at NCR, Siemens, and Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC) France as managing director and as a member of FSC Executive Council. In his newly-created role, Henocq will be responsible for driving business development and penetrating new markets through worldwide partnerships and corporate alliances.

Francois Legros believes the timing is right for this major new initiative. "The convergence of conferencing technologies to the desktop is opening new avenues for business development with high-tech partners, including system integrators, hardware manufacturers and software vendors," he confirms.
