CT Labs Test: ASD Millennium Telemarketing Software

We've come a long way from the days when your typical telemarketing software was a DOS-based, client/server system running off a dedicated predictive dialer. Those dark days of the early and mid 1990s are gone, and in its place we have more sophisticated systems, like the ASD Millennium telemarketing management system from Strategic Computer Support. This second generation tool (the first generation, circa 1995, was one of those DOS-based systems) is open, and supports inbound, outbound and blended calling. We asked CT Labs to run it through its paces for us, and when they did, they found it to be a full-featured call center product that performs very well in both inbound and outbound scenarios.

In fact, they described its performance as "rock-solid" - no errors were detected in call completion or call handling during the tests: "On the outbound test, the predictive dialing logic allowed us to keep a stable percentage of abandoned calls throughout our 5+ hour test with many variations in the percentage of calls answered," the report says.
