ExactTarget Kicks Off Nationwide Tour Featuring Email Marketing, Web Analytics And CRM Experts

ExactTarget, a leading provider of on-demand, email and one-to-one marketing solutions, is hosting a series of one-day seminars entitled: "Route 1to1: The New eMarketing Essentials," in cities nationwide. Sponsored by Omniture, salesforce.com and SLI Systems, this nationwide email marketing tour kicks off in Atlanta, Ga. on April 22, 2008 and New York City, N.Y. on April 24, 2008. Designed to respond to the needs of marketing professionals, attendees will receive practical advice on how to engage prospects, increase sales and build brand loyalty through the optimized use of email marketing, web analytics and CRM tools.

"Any organization that is serious about communicating with customers and key influencers in a productive manner, and those who wish to accelerate sales and increase return on customer investment, should make sure to attend," said Tim Kopp, chief marketing officer for ExactTarget. "This seminar encourages good marketers to become great, helping them utilize best practices in their overall email marketing programs."

For email marketers, the tour will highlight one of the most important factors for increasing return on investment - digital marketing. According to Anna Chernis, senior research director for the Direct Marketing Association, email will reach a more than forty-five dollar return on investment for each email marketing dollar spent and email produces the highest response rate for any direct marketing function.

"Omniture's platform enables marketers to use real-time behavioral data to manage multi-channel marketing campaigns," said John Mellor, executive vice president of corporate strategy and business development. "These events will demonstrate how online marketers can effectively engage their target customers."

The morning session at Route 1to1 will focus on the keys to building a strong online marketing foundation through analytics-driven website development, email marketing and search marketing. Jeanniey Mullen, founder of the Email Experience Council and global executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Zinio Systems and VIV Magazine, will also be on hand to share her vision of email's place in a Web 2.0 world.

"This event features some of the brightest minds in the email marketing industry and will provide marketing professionals with actionable insights, best practices and specific examples of customer success," said Clarence So, Chief Marketing Officer, salesforce.com.

"Customers of all sizes can visit salesforce.com's AppExchange to extend Salesforce CRM with email marketing from ExactTarget with just a few clicks."

The afternoon session will feature a B2C and a B2B track:

  • The B2C track, sponsored by SLI Systems, will feature clients discussing how they optimize their email marketing programs to achieve higher ROI.
  • The B2B track, sponsored by salesforce.com, will feature clients discussing how to leverage email and CRM to generate more leads and build stronger client relationships.

With over one hundred participants expected to attend, the event will also provide peer-to-peer networking opportunities.
