FrontRange Solutions Announces Paul Petersen Will Head Up The New GoldMine Business Unit

Company Prepares for Future Growth With the Promotion of a Proven Industry Leader

Pleasanton, CA (MARKETWIRE) -- FrontRange Solutions, a leading provider of IT Service Management, IT Asset Management and Customer Service Management solutions, announces they are separating their two core businesses so they are able to increase their focus on their unique markets. Consequently FrontRange will focus on IT Operations Management and the GoldMine business unit will focus on CRM and relationship management solutions.

FrontRange CEO Jon Temple announced Paul Petersen will be the Vice President & General Manager of the GoldMine Business Unit. As General Manager, Paul will be responsible for defining the overall strategy for GoldMine as well as sales, channels, services, marketing, support, product roadmap and product delivery.

Paul started with GoldMine 13 years ago as a Channels Manager and was subsequently promoted to Director of Channels. Most recently, he has been acting as Senior Director for North American GoldMine Sales. "Paul's vast experience in this part of our business makes him the ideal person to lead us towards our goal of becoming the leading CRM vendor for small businesses world-wide," stated Jon Temple.

In addition, other key senior management positions were announced including:

Greg Anderson will be responsible for Marketing and be the owner of the GoldMine Customer Experience. Greg has extensive experience in software, CRM implementation, and marketing.

Jamal Ahmad will develop the overall vision for GoldMine Premium Edition and a soon to be announced new cloud based product. Jamal brings extensive product management and business strategy experience to the role.

Patrice Tollenare will join the team as the Chief Technology Officer to drive development of the new product line as well as maximize existing development resources to deliver innovations for the premise based market segment.

Barbie Taylor will manage the GoldMine Technical Support and Customer Care group. Her addition to the management team will allow better communication across the team on matters of customer support, product development and the overall support experience for our customers and partners.
