Mobile CRM Solution: Vettro Elevated To O2's Preferred Partner Program To Release Joint Mobile Enterprise Application Offerings

O2 www.o2.co.uk, provider of mobile services to consumers and businesses in the United Kingdom, and Vettro www.vettro.com recently announced a partnership to offer mobile enterprise applications for the business segment in Europe. Vettro, one of the leader in mobile on-demand business applications, has been accepted to O2's Preferred Partner Programme in the UK. This agreement makes Vettro one of only a handful of application partners to have been accepted to O2's exclusive program, and enables its entire Vettro 360 suite of mobile applications to be sold directly by O2 sales personnel.

As the leader in non-voice mobile services, O2 is leveraging partner technology as well as its own innovations to drive revenue and expand growth in the business segment. The Vettro partnership strengthens O2's portfolio of offerings targeted to a growing population of mobile workers, and helps corporate customers quickly and easily deploy mobile applications for field service, sales, IT service management, and pickup and delivery.

"The mobile business applications arena is a rapidly growing market for O2 and this partnership addresses the unique needs of large enterprises looking for a reliable, scalable mobile application architecture that delivers customisable workflows for multiple types of workers on the go," said David Keegan, Head of Product Marketing at O2. "Vettro is an important part of the network of partnerships that is helping customers maximise their mobile workforce and grow their business."

Vettro was promoted to O2's Preferred Partner Programme based on a stellar track record of successful deployments in the enterprise market, positive customer feedback, and innovative application architecture leveraging open standard technologies.

As part of the agreement, O2 is also deploying Vettro 360 for Sales & CRM to its own field sales organisation as part of a joint effort to embody the best practices of mobile application deployment, training, and usage. Starting with their Data Mobilisation specialists, O2 is extending the deployment to its entire field-based sales force within the next few weeks.

The Vettro 360 suite of applications integrates with multiple enterprise systems, on-demand services and boasts advanced mobile capabilities such as GPS, Bluetooth(tm) peripherals, RFID, point-of-service transactions, and printing to optimise performance of the mobile enterprise. The Vettro 360 platform leverages an on-demand model that allows for fast deployment, customisation and updates over-the-air. Applications are instantly delivered after the initial download on the mobile device.

"Our partnership with O2 demonstrates that the mobile enterprise is a growing trend in the European market," said Joe Rymsza, President and CEO of Vettro. "This is another opportunity for Vettro to gain a larger foothold in a lucrative international market and it is likewise an opportunity for O2 to increase market share in the business segment."
