RedTail Solutions Announces Major 2006 Achievements
Grows Customer Base by 40%, Revenue Base by 100% Over Previous Year
RedTail Solutions, a provider of on-demand electronic trading solutions for EDI and data synchronization, today announced major achievements for 2006 in several areas, including growing its customer base by 40% and revenue base by 100% over the previous year.
In expanding its customer base, RedTail added larger companies such as Prestige Brands, one of WalMart's larger suppliers. In addition, increased business led to RedTail more than doubling the electronic transactions it processed on behalf of its customers.
"We are excited about completing a successful 2006 and remain committed to focus on building ROI for middle market suppliers by delivering software as a service based upon supply chain best practices," said Patricia Meisner, CEO of RedTail. "In 2007 we will continue to innovate and add integrated RFID capabilities to our EDI and data synchronization offering."
Growth in 2006 was fueled by the release of new service-based solutions for Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) and SAGE MAS 500 users. In addition, RedTail released enhanced advance ship notice (ASN) functionality that can support both high-volume batch processing as well as "drop ship" business processes. Both of these are rapidly expanding for suppliers as consumers increase online ordering with large retailers. Moreover, RedTail enhanced functionality to enable suppliers to exchange data seamlessly with their remote warehouses.
RedTail also targeted a specific solution for pharmaceutical manufacturers that supports price reconciliation and rebates between manufacturer, distributor and end-user, with integration to their contract management software .
