ServiceLink Improves Appraisal Process By Incorporating Vision Computer Telephony Integration Technology
Pittsburgh-based ServiceLink , a leading provider of origination and default services and the national mortgage services platform of Fidelity National Financial improves appraisal appointment and delivery time using Vision computer telephony integration (CTI) technology. CTI Technology electronically confirms the appraiser's availability within minutes of an appraisal order hitting the Vision system and automatically calls and conferences in the borrower to confirm the pre-selected appointment date and time. This process provides national coverage and allows the loan officer and/or processor to lock-in the borrower's commitment by securing their availability for an appraisal inspection at the time of application. The pre-scheduled process has reduced the lender's traditional appraisal cycle time by four or more days, all while improving the borrower experience.
"Our Vision automation technology not only speeds workflow for the appraisal process, but ultimately offers a higher level of service to our customers," said Jeff Coury, president and CEO of ServiceLink. "Utilizing this system to quickly set and confirm the time and date for the appraiser to inspect the property typically allows us to return our completed valuation products to our lenders within two days of the appointment date. Our customers can leverage this valuation technology along with our industry leading title and closing offerings to close a loan within four days of application, providing them with a significant competitive advantage which is particularly important in today's market conditions and increased level of refinance activity."
