Tenrox Releases Version 9.2 Of Its Project Workforce Management Software

Tenrox, the leading provider of workflow-driven project workforce management solutions, recently announces the release of version 9.2, the latest upgrade to its integrative project and workforce management with financials solution. Among more than 30 enhancements, Release 9.2 features new integration with Microsoft Project Server 2007 to provide users with improved tracking, planning, and reporting capabilities, as well as enhancements that include deeper integration to Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Additional highlights include:

  • New parameters for customizing and controlling billing details and user input
  • Easier at-a-glance access to project status through Dashboard Task Lists and Project Plan Milestones
  • More powerful forecasting capabilities
  • Ability to assign resources to multiple tasks simultaneously

Release 9.2 is fully compatible with Microsoft Project Server 2007, allowing customers to further leverage the versatility of Tenrox's functionalities within the Microsoft environment including its Timesheet and Expense reporting, project process management and cost and revenue accounting.

Another key feature is Project Entity Mapping, designed for Microsoft CRM, which allows users to fully integrate project management into their everyday customer relations and sales activities. "This kind of integration facilitates project lifecycle management and improves customer relations by providing the sales team with real-time updates on the progress of their clients' engagements," said Rafat Hilal, Vice President of Research and Development, Tenrox. "Project Workforce Management can now capture project details that originate in CRM and continue the exchange of data between the two platforms as those projects progress and mature. It marks a whole new kind of synergy between sales and project delivery teams."

The impetus and direction for Release 9.2 enhancements was provided by Tenrox's Customer Advisory Group. This major release is a prime example of the emphasis the company puts on responding quickly to customer demands.

Tenrox will be hosting a live webinar to debut Release 9.2 on December 18.
