TriWest Earns J.D. Power And Associates Call Center Certification
Recognizing TriWest Healthcare Alliance's call centers as among the most elite and professional in the nation, TriWest supporting the TRICARE West Region has received the J.D. Power and Associates Call Center Certification for excellence in serving customers.
"The J.D. Power and Associates certification recognizes our operational excellence and that our call center and its staff provide outstanding service for our millions of customers and more than 129,000 health care practitioners in our provider network," said TriWest President and CEO David J. McIntyre Jr. "We achieved this level of service with the support of the TRICARE Regional Office-West."
J.D. Power and Associates measures call center effectiveness judged by recruiting, training, employee incentives, management roles and responsibilities, performance standards and quality assurance.
TriWest, a Department of Defense contractor, is the administrator of the military's health care program, TRICARE, serving 2.9M eligible beneficiaries in 21 western states. Each of TriWest's six call centers, and the call center of TriWest's subcontractor, Wisconsin Physicians Services (WPS), received the certification after audits and surveys of 1,800 TriWest customers conducted by a third party over 15 days.
"This certification means that we are consistently providing the highest levels of customer service," said Rhonda Hammond, TriWest Vice President of Corporate Operations. "Calls are answered promptly and our customers get the right answers and information they need."
TriWest's call centers are staffed by highly trained and equipped call center specialists. TriWest's J.D. Power and Associates certified call centers are in Anchorage, Colorado Springs, Honolulu, Phoenix, San Diego and Tacoma and the WPS call center is in Wausau, Wisconsin.
