Verticals onDemand Launches First SaaS CRM Application With Full Samples Management Functionality

Verticals onDemand, the pharmaceutical industry's only provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) CRM solutions, launches VBioPharma Primary Care Edition CRM application for life sciences organizations. This is the first CRM application pre-validated for PDMA and the Food and Drug Administration's CFR Part 11 compliance, saving customers up to 80% of their system validation costs and making time-to-value almost immediate. Verticals onDemand delivers an out-of-the-box call reporting and sampling system with complete IQ and OQ documentation, not only reducing costs, but also the risk of being issued a damaging consent decree from the federal government.

"The consequences of not properly validating your system can be devastating," said Patrick P. Den Boer, CEO of Q Pharma, Inc., a leader in regulatory compliance consulting services to the life sciences industries. "At the very least, a company will be issued an FD-483, which damages a company's reputation. At the worst, a company could enter into a consent decree costing the organization millions of dollars in fines, and even shutting down the facility."

VBioPharma is the industry's first Software as a Service (SaaS) CRM solution for primary care and the only Pharma CRM solution to come pre-validated. It's built on the Force.com platform to deliver all the advantages of the SaaS model to replace aging client/server solutions. The new application provides full primary care functionality including:

  • physician and account profiling;
  • tracking physician and account affiliations;
  • call scheduling and route management;
  • call reporting and mobile call reporting with electronic signature capture; and,
  • full samples management.

Verticals onDemand developed its CRM application to provide a cost-efficient alternative over client/server enterprise systems, now considered inflexible, complex, and overly expensive. SaaS-based, VBioPharma eliminates the need for software installation, upgrades, or ongoing system maintenance. The application is delivered as a reliable service over the Internet, accessible through any web browser, and completely customizable at no additional cost.

VBioPharma Primary Care Edition also combines full-featured functionality for specialty care, managed care, and key opinion leader management in a single application, empowering all pharmaceutical sales teams to integrate their strategies for optimum success.

"With the first pre-validated SaaS-based CRM application, Verticals onDemand is setting the standard for the way things will evolve in the pharmaceutical industry," added Den Boer, who has been validating systems within pharmaceutical companies for more than two decades.
